In 2023 I raced in Club 100 as a junior lightweight, where I ended the season 9th overall out of 100+ drivers competing. I also competed in various other rental kart championships throughout the year, including a tbkart racing event over in Italy. For 2024 I have set my sights towards cars instead of karts and will be racing with Orex Competition for the coming season.e 2023

My career in the fast lane began with my family’s shared passion in motorsport, and since then, I’ve never looked back. I learnt to drive when I was 13 years old, building my race car with a team my family had worked with in the past. Putting the hours in at the garage weekly really enhanced my understanding of my car, and benefitted my driving greatly. I am coming into my third season in the Junior Saloon Car Championship and i will be pushing for results, my last years competing helped me gain knowledge and experience, having worked my way through the grid this year now, I’m ready for business.

Will is the 2024 JSCC Scholarship Winner. He previously took part in 3 rounds in JSCC in 2023, gaining experience and consistently improving throughout the rounds. The majority of his previous racing experience comes from eSports, taking part in the Rokit Racing Star F4 eSports competition in 2023.

Racing History:  

At age 6 Tom started karting indoors at the local Team Sports karting track where he progressed quickly into cadet karting racing at various Kent venues. At 11 years old he moved into racing the Rotax Mini Max where he had a lot of success including many podiums and also in 2023 won the Mini Max championship. At 12 he moved into the British Junior Rotax Max where he had a few top 10 results and has now moved into driving for Orex Competition.

Ollie has been around the JSCC paddock for the past three years helping and supporting his brother Harry Smith. He has no previous race experience himself other than a few indoor karting days prior to his first round in JSCC, which was at Snetterton in August 2024. 

He is really looking forward to taking on the challenge of becoming 2025 Rookie Champion!
