We arranged a one to one training day with Dave, Steve and the Orex team after a chance meeting at Mallory Park where our daughter, Eloise, had had her first car session as part of her transition to cars from karts. Speaking to Dave, the team's approach to developing juniors as racing drivers seemed what we were looking for so we booked a one to one training day.
The training day was amazing. From having only spent an hour in any car before the session, Eloise left the day ready to take her ARDS test - which she did and passed! Dave and Steve were brilliant all day; settling any nerves at the beginning of the day by explaining clearly how the day would start and would build throughout the day, Dave's calmness and encouragement in the car gave Eloise loads of confidence and Steve spent time making sure she was set in the car and explained to her lots about the car that sets her up perfectly for her rookie JSCC campaign in 2027. The progress Eloise made in a single day was incredible and the biggest smile under Eloise's helmet told its own story!
